Delhi

Delhi is the national capital of India. The city is infused with historical monuments, government buildings, museums, theaters, exhibition centers & market. Well connected through transportation channels, best amenity hotels & cost- effective travel services; Delhi is surely a world-class city to call on people to have a surreal experience.

Delhi became the national capital of India in the year 1911 during the colonial period.  Since its citation in epic Mahabharta as Indraprastha the city marks a continuous development; has ever augmented, improved and achieved the unprecedented milestone to be the best metropolitan city in India. Situated at the gateway of northern India, Delhi has been built seven times in past.

Delhi is more like a flower basket in time frame showcasing all the colours & fragrance of eternal beauty. Situated at ancient route to the entry point of India, aesthetically rich Delhi has all the charm & liveliness of various cultures & ethnicity. Be it Hinduism, Islam or Christianity all has its influence on Delhi. Delhi is a melting pot of dreams that bring people closer and inspire their thoughts to create vibrant realities of time & realize their aspirations.

Grandeurs of past Purana Qila (Old Fort), Humayun Tomb, Qutb Minar, Red Fort Complexes & Jama Masjid are embodiment of marvellous architectural intelligence of ancient India. Even today, one can have an enthralling glance into the past in Old Delhi, with its maze of narrow lanes, old havelis(Mentions), and vibrant bazaars where life continues, much as it did hundreds of years ago. Central Delhi, with its tree-lined avenues, impressive structures and buildings such as the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House), Parliament House and India Gate, reflect Delhi’s colonial past. A number of museums bestow a glimpse into the country’s captivating history.

The modern Delhi has a lot more to offer. Delhi has a modern, well-planned and extensive Metro network that connects all corners of Delhi.

New malls and entertainment centres shove for space with an increasing number of brand new hospitals, suburban complexes, and sporting facilities. Delhi is a dream destination for those seeking expert medical attention and superior OPD and IPD facilities. Credit to the advent of the Commonwealth Games, there are world-class stadia like the modernized Nehru Stadium that can be accessed by one and all, throughout the year. All of this has been urbanized and sustained while preserving Delhi’s green cover, a unique feature that distinguishes this truly global metropolis from other cities in the world where the tree line is subdued by skyscrapers.

New embellishments to the city, such as Akshardham Temple and the Lotus Temple are great places to visit and get an idea of its multi-faceted culture. Delhi is also gaining acknowledgment as a cultural destination. Delhi Tourism’s major festivals—namely, the International Kite Festival, Magic Festival, Itra and Sugandhi Mela, Mango Festival, Dilli ke Pakwaan, and Garden Tourism Festival are becoming an integral part of Delhi’s cultural heritage.

No visit to Delhi is complete without an experience of its famed specialties such as its delicious curries, barbecued tikkas and kebabs. It is also a shoppers’ haven, whether you want to pick up some rich, woven silks, handicrafts, or ethnic cushions for your home. For cuisine of different Indian states and an array of Indian art and craft there are three Dilli Haats in Delhi at INA, Pitampura and the brand new Dilli Haat at Janakpuri.

It is time to celebrate this city which is a symbol of the country’s rich past and thriving present. As a Capital city it is fittingly a window to the country.
