Once asked Bernard Baruch- the man who was the trusted adviser to six Presidents: Wilson, Coolidge, Hoover, Roosevelt, and Truman- whether he was ever disturbed by the attacks of his enemies, " No man can humiliate me or disturb me," he replied. "I won't let him."
No one can humiliate or disturb you and me either- unless we let him.
Sticks and stones may break my bones,
But words can never hurt me.
from the book- "How to stop worrying and start living"
but you and me always let our heart to get hurt by anybody around us. In life we protract our body even from a little burnt to our feel from any dirt it may get. We dress our body to protract from seasons even wear hand gloves as not to feel cold in hand, spend money on shoes to let our feet feel no pain as our feet helps us to move. but what we do to keep our hurt and mind upright, happy and healthy and relax all the time, in any situation; pleasant or sad, hard or easy, positive or negative? we leave it on the mercy of others and let it hurt frequently by small annoying gesture of them, their given opinions, judgments or words.
Finally want to advise you my friends if I'm lucky and you are reading me, from my own life-experience, please take care of your hurt and don't handover the responsibility to others for your own happiness.
