How to modify the thought process
Avoid random and haphazard thinking: unplanned random thinking and day- dreaming are signs of weak mind. Your conscious mind should remain fully alert, in full awareness and maintain its master status controlling his servant that is subconscious mind.
Make deliberate attempts to remain positive at all times: It is the singe largest factor in building up of our personality and character. We must try to view everything positive in our life.
Reduce emotional elements in your thoughts : Nothing in this universe designed to harm us. All the trials and tests are to teach certain lessons to us which we not yet learnt. Observe all your problems like a spectator and solve them with a detached and unbiased mind.
Be Consistent in your thoughts, words and deeds; be consistent inside outside. This is the true test of a righteous person.
Conscious relaxation : off and on whenever you find time, practice conscious relaxation. This is achieved by shifting awareness of mind from thought process to pure perceive or gaze the photo of your deity or any other pure symbol. you may concentrate on a soothing sound or just on the rytham of your breath. in all the above processes mind is fully active but there is a shift of focus from thoughts to pure awareness.
Practice of Yoga and Meditation : If done correctly the process of meditation gradually resolves all the conflict of the unconscious mind and makes the mind pure and strong. You can also perceive your real self or divine self very clearly which is the source of all bliss, peace and power.
